I found Dr. Pinar through a random Internet search. I'm not usually so lucky with those, but he's turned out to be a great dentist. Some recent dentists I've used seem to over treat, suggesting procedures I don't necessarily need. Unlike these other dentists, I don't get the sense Dr. Pinar is trying to retire early based on my dental work. I've been sp pleased with his work that I've recommended him to friends and family.

Yesterday,I was very pleased with my perio-dental cleaning. I have been a patient of Dr. McFadden for almost 20 years and he has a terrific dental staff and technicians. I have had Dr. McFadden do vaneers and crowns on my front teeth, uppers and lowers and they look beautiful. He is very fussy about obtaining terrific results. I recommend this office very highly.

I've been a patient here for along time (probably 10 yeas or more) and have never been less than completely satisfied with the care. It's a very efficient friendly office, the staff, especially the hygienists (sp?) are wonderful too to spend time with and make the cleanings a pleasure. The doctors care has always been exceptional.

First off, let me begin by saying I NEVER write yelp reviews -- but after my experience with Dr. Pinar, I felt it was the only right thing to do seeing as he has changed my outlook on dentists all together.
Dr. Dan is the BEST dentist in L.A. -- not just for people who are VERY fearful of getting dental work done like myself, but also because he is a grade A professional at his craft. I Went into his office and was greeted by a very friendly staff and felt comfortable through the entire process. He knew I had a bad fear so he talked me through the whole thing and made me laugh quite a bit to lighten the mood.. I originally planned to just get my teeth cleaned to appease my girlfriend and just ignore all the other dental work that needed to be done, but because I had such an excellent experience with him I plan to go back and get all the necessary work finished (which is a lot mind you, 5 cavities and a broken tooth) -- not to mention, I don't have dental insurance ... but at the end of the day you gotta pay for quality, and that is what Dr. Pinar exudes. I look forward to my next appointment!

So, I haven't been to a dentist in years...until I met Dr. McFadden. Wow, I am sure I can go on and on, but all I will say is that if you are a big scaredy cat like me, you can trust that Dr. McFadden will make you love dentist visit again! He's patient, he listens to you and I have had 2 fillings done now and I never felt any pain...It's weird to say this but I look forward to seeing him again!

First experience with Dr. Dan Pinar

After recently moving to West Hollywood, I broke an old crown exposing a lot of the natgive tooth. I was courteously and promptly scheduled for an appointment where the broken crown was easily removed and replaced with a temporary. I will be returning for the permanent crown and further dental work. Dr. Pinal and his staff were friendly, efficient and competent. I plan to make him my regular dentist as long as I live in W. Hollywood.

Had an oddly difficult time finding my dentist in LA. After a couple of experiences in offices that felt very old-school and then one office that immediately recommended $14,000 in cosmetic work (!) I found Dr. Pinar.
The office is professional but laid back. Dr. Pinar is credible, meticulous and warm. I've had standard cleanings and x-rays along with some cosmetic repair -- all handled swiftly, without pain and with excellent results. They even run on-time to schedule in my experience.
Bottom line -- they take VERY good care of their patients.

A Great Way to End a Summer Day

After work, I arrived to a friendly comfortable atmosphere where the staff is ALWAYS personable. I arrived very early and they suggested I could even go eat, yes EAT before a dentist appointment, at a nearby cafe. When I returned and got my time in the "chair", the conversation wasn't clinical. It was very personable and funny. I don't think I have ever laughed so much while having my teeth cleaned! I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and highly recommend this office!!

I have a great amount of fear when it comes to sitting in the dentist chair. Much of my history has been plagued with painful experiences. Dr. McFadden has never caused me pain in his chair. He has found some problems that need to be remedied. Each stage of my process has been kind, considerate and pain free.

When I went for a teeth cleaning. I always seem to wonder if a hygenist is cleaning my teeth thoroughly. I found she skipped all around my teeth and even I became confused which teeth she had cleaned and which ones weren't. Isn't it normal practice to start on one side (top or bottom)and clean the front and back row then switch that particular row of teeth?

The care I've received at this office is superior to any I've visited in Los Angeles. With in my first visit I knew this office would be my primary dental office. From the receptionist, dental assistance, and the doctor- I felt like a valued patient. This is in comparison to three dentist in a row ( only a week apart) who treated me like a number or just another upsell for dental procedures that I didn't need. Wow, my visits with Dr. Dan brought me from ANXIOUS to FUN. Sounds weird, right? I actually enjoyed my trips to the dentist, I never thought that would be possible. Highly recommended. Highly. I've had experience with dentists, unfortunately, and Dr. Dan is the best dentist I've found, fortuntely. I've had some fillings and a cleaning, all of the work was extremely well done and without pain. I have a low tolerance for pain and a bit of anxiety for going to the dentist, and now I no longer have these concerns after a few visits to Dr. Dan.

I cannot recommend Dr. Pinar enough - what a breath of fresh air after so many LA dentists focused only on upselling or shoving you out the door! Not only is he extremely kind, but he is very upfront and honest about what you need to have done, and what is a waste of money. With regards to the cleaning procedure, it was the most gentle one I have ever had. No roughness whatsoever. What a great find, highly recommended!

The best dentist I know, and I know a lot having been blessed with a horrible set of choppers. He is kind, thoughtful, handsome(not that it matters) but most important of all, REALLY smart about teeth. He's up on the latest technology, he's a great listener and so compassionate that once, late on a Saturday night, I had a tooth go terribly wrong and the pain was incredible and he not only returned my page within minutes but offered to leave a fabulous Manhattan dinner and drive an hour to come pull it. He's the best.

Warm, no-pressure dentist
Of the half dozen or so dentists I've seen in my life, Dr. Pinar is the best. Incredibly friendly, no-pressure...and cute doesn't hurt. I don't dread going to the dentist! I can't imagine ever going to another dentist at this point. He's great.
